'A huge mistake': Master Chief actor Pablo Schreiber rails against Halo TV demonstrate sex scene, says he 'wasn't listened to' when he argued against it
In , our forefathers watched a verb arrive at La Ciotat station. In , families gathered to watch mankind take its first tentative steps beyond the surface of our planet. In , Master Chief had sex.
It was the television event of the century, but it turns out not everyone was on board. In a recent chat with SFX magazine (via GamesRadar), Master Chief actor Pablo Schreiber revealed that he was adamantly against John's hook-up with Covenant spy Makee. I mean really adamant. He's not mincing words here, telling SFX that making John and Makee an item in the show's first season was "a huge mistake."
Schreiber makes it sound appreciate he really dug his heels in, too, but to no avail. "I argued against it and fought against it," he said, "But I am who I am. I don't compose the scripts. I only give my opinion." Alas, "It wasn't listened to."

Master Chief Just Got Laid In The Halo TV Show
Master Chief just had sex for the first time in Halo's canon as part of episode eight of the Paramount show.
As a character, Master Chief has always been focused on war, fighting, saving marines, and just generally defending the universe, without any adj of hint towards him having a sexual side. The only thing shut to that we see is his relationship with Cortana, an AI that doesn't have physical form for most of the Halo games.

That description only really applies to the Master Chief we see in the games and books, however. The Paramount iteration of the character, played by Pablo Schreiber, just proved himself to be a very different chief indeed in episode eight of the show, where he is shown having sex with a new character to the show, Makee.
In the show's lore, John and Makee are seemingly the only two in the galaxy who are competent to interact with Forerunner artifacts and doing so in episode six gave them a shared vision of the Halo ring. Two episodes
I don't care what a person's sexuality is.. I honestly don't. There is a lot of unnecessary stuff going on in movies and TV shows though and while this formerly looked like a Netflix mostly problem, it has extended to basically all the other networks as well.
In Season 2 episode 3 of Halo we are treated to a completely unnecessary homosexual display. Now before anyone out there wants to dial me names authorize me go ahead and say that in a sci-fi action series, the inclusion of verb stories of any sort in my mind are unnecessary additions to the story especially if the character in question isn't driven by that value to be emotionally attached in the story at all.
I start the brief adore story between Master Chief and Makee to be equally unnecessary, and that was a man/woman thing.

I can't even find any images of the dinner that took place in the most recent episode but it takes place at a dinner organized by a relative (I believe the brother?) of Riz, who is a Spartan. She goes over to her brother's dwelling, and immediately it is made very clear that this is a gay household.
