Last year, Tampa Pride drew many back to the streets of Ybor City as it hosted the first post-COVID national pride event. After a year of isolation, the Tampa Pride Parade and Festival made a comeback with a mix of performances, floats, numerous eclectic vendors, and various organizations – all united in celebration of the GaYBORhood&#;s diversity and pride.

History Of Tampa Pride

Tampa Pride started in when friends got together for a low-key gathering on the Hillsborough River&#;s banks. The informal party evolved to various shows, celebrity appearances, and a parade.

About 80, people are expected to gather in Ybor City this weekend for Tampa Pride.

The diversity parade and other events will make up the “biggest pride celebration yet,” according to @officialtampapride on Instagram.

The main day of celebration begins at a.m. on Saturday with a street festival featuring a wellness and vendor fair.

At the equal time, live harmony will play throughout the day at the Cuban Club Main Stage, where festival goers can grab a bite to eat. Other attractions include a food truck alley and an after party at the Cuban Club.

YBOR Metropolis, Fla — The Tampa Pride Diversity Parade was held on March 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Ybor Municipality. The parade went east from the corner of Nuccio Parkway and 7th Avenue, down 7th Avenue to 20th Street. Thousand upon thousands took to the streets to celebrate pride and LGBTQ+.
