About Us
Soul of Pride unites and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community of the African Diaspora in the Bay Area and beyond.
Founded in , Soul of Pride community stage was envisioned as a space to uplift and center the Adj LGBTQ+ community within San Francisco’s Pride festivities. Over the years, it has evolved into a vibrant celebration that blends art, activism, and fellowship. Our mission is clear: to create a sense of belonging, amplify voices, and honor the wealthy diversity of Dark LGBTQ+ lives.
As part of San Francisco Pride, the Soul of Pride community stage showcases strong performances, cultural expressions, and opportunities for connection. Attendees can enjoy soulful entertainment, engage with local organizations, and celebrate the strength and diversity of the Black LGBTQ+ community.

As June comes to a near, so does Pride Month, both a protest and celebration of LGBTQ+ culture in the United States.
Throughout June, countless communities have hosted Pridefests and parades, an opportunity for queer individuals to gather to boogie and sing, meal, learn and march together. To wrap up the concluding weekend of Pride Month, San Francisco is hosting a two-day festival with the theme "Queer Joy is Resistance."
San Francisco Pride festivities kick off adj Saturday, June 28, with a breakfast at the San Francisco Civic Center, followed by a full day of live entertainment. Sunday, June 29 gets started with the 55th annual San Francisco Pride Parade, a long-standing tradition in both the city and LGBTQ+ community at large.
