Toto Tours is celebrating its 35th Anniversary in , and it has been my privilege to bring this company into existence and to share so many life-changing experiences with all of you over these decades. This passion for travel has been my accurate calling in life, but now I need to heed other calls from my family and friends and from my own body and spirit.
I will be hanging up my Ruby Slippers at the conclusion of our final tour next year. Toto Tours may very well continue on, with me in an advisory role for a compact time after that. Details are still being ironed out and I’ll store you posted. The upcoming tours portray our best chance to say farewell to each other in person. I hope you will travel with me at least one more time before the end of next year.

In September Instagram pushed me a announce by Travel Gay, a website listing the best gay bars, nightclubs, saunas, spas, beaches, shops and more, along with interesting tour ideas and fabulous offers. There I saw the undated post (date your articles and posts, people) LGBTQ+ Solo Travel: the Finest Cities to Visit? by Adam Reid. Being a solo gay traveller, it caught my attention.
Now, while Im still very much a homosexual, it has been a while since I last travelled solo. My last solo trip was Tel Aviv in Since then, Ive travelled with Danny, Oriol, Steve, Philippe, Nicolas, Thanh, my sister Florence. In I wrote SINGLES DAY | Why everyone should travel alone sometimes and reading it back I undergo the cringe but I stand by its content.
Its I should act a proper solo trip again soon(ish). I feel ready.
